When I graduated from RHS, I was expected to start supporting myself. I got a clerical job and a tiny shared apartment in north Minneapolis. After starting college part-time while continuing to work full-time, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in business from Metropolitan State University. The balance of my working years was spent as a human resource director, mostly in the Department of Corrections and the MN state college and university system. In addition, I had a business designing, making and selling artisan jewelry for several years. I was married for 32 years and have one son. After retiring in 2008, I returned to my early love of photography and have been trying to wrestle my digital cameras into submission ever since. Bill, my life partner and I have been together over 20 years and we live in Bloomington.
