Hello from beautiful north Brooklyn Park MN!

I have been happily retired since 2005 after working 34+ years at IDS/American Express Financial Advisors/now Ameriprise, mostly in the technology area.

We all were fortunate to have received great K - 12 educations through the Robbinsdale school district, and to have graduated from what was once the best high school in the state of Minnesota.

I had the opportunity to work with a great committee in planning our class of 1966 45 year reunion during 2011. The reunion was a great success, and all who attended had a great time reconnecting with classmates and re-writing some history. See www.robins66reunion.com

Speaking of the RHS Class of 1966, during our Sophomore year while Cooper was being built, we were divided into two groups, with 1/2 of us spending the morning or afternoon at RHS, while the other 1/2 spent time at the Jr High on Regent. We were bussed back and forth. What a mess that was!

I know the folks who are planning this RHS all-school reunion have spent countless hours putting the event together. I hope that many RHS graduates and Robbinsdale area citizens can attend some of the programs and events.

As we progress through the rest of our days, try to keep this little ditty in the back of your mind:

"Everywhere we go, people ought to know, who we are, so we tell them, we are the Robins, the mighty, mighty Robins, we are the Robins from Robbinsdale"
